CHEFS COLLABORATION FUNDRAISER

WITH ŌRA KING SALMON

Three of our North American Ambassador chefs recently got together in Houston to prepare a fundraising dinner with Ōra King salmon, for the Southern Smoke Foundation—a relief fund that is helping to get foodservice workers back on their feet around the US.

Chefs Travis Swikard, Mathew Peters and Aaron Bludorn have a shared history of career backgrounds in some of New York City’s most celebrated restaurants and have since gone on to separate ventures—Aaron opening Bludorn restaurant in Houston; Travis opening Callie in San Diego, and Matt pursuing his own business after winning gold for Team USA at the Bocuse D’Or International Chef Competition in 2017.

In light of what has been an incredibly challenging year for the hospitality industry, the fundraising dinner was a celebration on several levels; the ability to hold a ticketed in-restaurant event; chefs being able to travel to collaborate in the kitchen, and raising much-needed funds for an organisation committed to supporting our industry.

It’s great to see these top chefs back together in the kitchen with Ōra King salmon.
