Looking after multiple venues across Melbourne, Northern Territory and South Australia and with more than 18 years’ experience in the hospitality industry, Christian has accomplished long-term growth across a range of venues in varying countries.
Prior to working with the Australian Venue Co (AVC), Christian began his career in the U.K., working in North and South England and was Michelin trained with a strong passion for cooking. He then competed in Young Chef of the Year, South West Chef of the year, Masterchef the Professionals Finalist and Electrolux Chef Academy Finalist.
A key factor for Christian is sustainability. Whichever country he has been based at, Christian is constantly driven by quality, sustainable and local produce. Before making his way down under, Christian gained further experience working in Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore & Cambodia, where he expanded his knowledge in Asian cuisine.
At AVC, Christian has built a rapport and works alongside incredible, sustainable, and local suppliers. With his creative touches, he crafts menu’s that keep customers coming back for more. Christian manages some of AVC’s iconic gastronomic pubs, including The Station Hotel, The Auburn Hotel, Middle Park Hotel, Imperial Bourke St in Melbourne and Brighton Metro in Adelaide.
