A native of New Zealand, Jason Roberts grew up in a family of culinary professionals and discovered his passion for food at a young age. Turning it into a career, he spent seven years as an Executive Chef at Bistro Moncur in Sydney, Australia.
Now with over 30 years experience in the industry, Jason had co founded @gdayneighbour – an outlet to connect and build community through social media + food. Jason has hosted a number of tv shows over the past two decades including Channel 9’s Fresh (2000-2004), The Chew – ABC America and award-winning food talk show, Jason Roberts’ Taste. He has also authored three cookbooks including Elements, Graze: Lots of Little Meals Fast and Good Food–Fast!.
Jason is an advocate for healthy living, and believing that meal time fosters deeper connections between family and friends. Jason’s motto is: “A family that cooks together, stays together.” Splitting his time between Sydney and New York City (prior to Covid), Jason regularly traveled the world as a guest speaker at top food shows and culinary events.
